DG-505 Cockpit

The Glaser-Dirks DG-505 is a dual-seater high performance sailplane built of glass-reinforced plastic.

Having its first flight in 1987, 261 were built to date.[1] For more than 10 years, the aircraft held the record of the highest unpowered flight.

After production by DG Flugzeugbau GmbH ceased, maintenance is now provided by AMS Flight, which also publishes flight and maintenance manuals.[2]
